Article

Plan a supplier visit around the questions your purchase needs answered. A meeting about configuration and development has a different purpose from observing production. Tell the supplier what you want to assess before choosing a location or arranging travel.

For Mobimax, visits are generally arranged at the Wuxi R&D centre. If seeing production at the Nantong base is your priority, raise this when making the appointment so the proposed visit can be coordinated with that purpose.

Choose the location to match the discussion

For a Wuxi R&D meeting, share the reference models and the configuration or development questions you want to discuss. Ask in advance which relevant samples, people and materials can be available. A meeting at the R&D centre should not be treated as confirmation that you have visited the production base.

For a Nantong production visit, identify the product type and production or inspection activities you hope to observe. Ask what is expected to be available on the proposed date. Do not assume that the exact model or order you are discussing will be in production during the visit.

Prepare a short list of procurement questions

Focus the agenda on your proposed purchase. Useful questions include which configuration the sample represents, how proposed changes are recorded and which information still needs to be agreed before an order can be confirmed.

If production or quality is your focus, ask which relevant operations can be observed and whether an appropriate example of an inspection record can be discussed. Request permission before photographing records, people or products belonging to other customers. Access to information should be agreed rather than assumed.

Understand the role of live production views

Live views from the Nantong production base can be discussed when arranging a Wuxi meeting, subject to availability and confidentiality requirements. Tell the team what you hope to understand from those views so the request can be reviewed in advance.

Remote images can support a discussion of what is visible at that time. They do not provide the same opportunity as a visit to examine a process in person, and they do not replace product-specific records or an agreed inspection. If direct observation is important to your decision, make that clear when planning the visit.

Connect observations to the proposed product

During the meeting, distinguish what you have observed from what still requires evidence or confirmation. When reviewing a sample, ask which model and specification revision it represents. When discussing a record, ask what product or batch it relates to and whether a version can be shared with confidential information removed.

After the meeting, record the questions answered, the documents or checks still outstanding and the person responsible for each follow-up. Agreeing this list helps both sides continue the procurement discussion without treating every item on the visit agenda as already resolved.

Arrange the visit before booking travel

Send your company details, preferred dates, reference models, number of visitors and the main questions you want to address. State whether you want a Wuxi R&D meeting, a Nantong production visit or both, then ask the team to confirm the arrangements.

Use the existing Contact page or email sales@mobimaxbike.com to discuss the visit. A confirmed agenda will help you use the available time on the questions that matter to your purchase.

Make the next discussion specific.

Bring your reference model, destination market and the question you need answered. Keep configuration assumptions and any document revisions together.
