AT A GLANCE
Buying & delivery
Prepare your company details, model links, quantities, configuration changes, documentation requirements, trade terms and target dates for an e-bike quotation.Article
A useful e-bike quotation starts with a clear description of what you want to buy. Give the supplier a reference model, a quantity for each model and the destination country. Then identify any changes to the published configuration and the commercial conditions you want quoted.
You do not need a finished technical specification to start a conversation. If a requirement is still open, say so. A request that separates confirmed requirements from questions is easier to review than a short message asking for the best price.
Introduce the company and destination market
Share your company name, website and destination country. If you do not yet have a website, briefly describe your business and the customers you intend to serve. Include a contact name and email so any questions reach the person managing the purchase.
State where the bikes will be sold, rather than only where your company is registered. If the order is intended for several countries, list them separately so the requirements can be discussed for each destination.
Identify the model and quantity
Use the model code and product page link from the current Mobimax range. A photograph can help explain your request, but the model code gives both sides a clearer reference.
List the intended quantity for each model and distinguish samples from a production order. If you are comparing different order sizes, ask for separate quotations. An estimated annual purchasing plan can provide context, but it should not be presented as the quantity of the first order.
Make configuration changes explicit
If the published specification meets your needs, write “Please quote the published reference configuration.” If you want changes, list them individually. Include the reference specification, the requested change and whether it is essential or optional.
“Larger battery” or “better brakes” leaves the supplier to guess your priority. Explain the intended result, and add a part specification or reference file if you have one. If you do not know which component to request, describe the use case and ask what can be evaluated for that model.
State documentation and commercial requirements
Tell the team about any certification or documentation requirements your project has identified. If these are not yet defined, flag the question for review instead of assuming that a product photograph or model name confirms suitability for your market.
Include the requested trade term and its named location. For example, a request using FOB should identify the intended port. Ask the quotation to state what is included and what is excluded so you can compare offers on the same basis.
Define what the target date means
Specify whether your target date means factory readiness, shipment or arrival. A requested arrival date should not be recorded simply as a production deadline. Ask the team to confirm a workable schedule against the proposed model, configuration and quantity.
Send a brief that can be answered
Before sending your request, check that it includes your company and destination, model links, quantities, configuration choices, documentation requirements, trade term and target date. Mark anything undecided as “to be discussed.”
Use the existing Start a Project page to begin the enquiry, or send your brief to sales@mobimaxbike.com. The configuration checklist can help you organise the details for the follow-up discussion; you do not need to resolve every item before contacting the team.
Make the next discussion specific.
Bring your reference model, destination market and the question you need answered. Keep configuration assumptions and any document revisions together.
